A blood transfusion drip bottle and its preparation method

The present invention relates to a drip chamber for a blood transfusion set and a preparation method thereof. The wall of the drip chamber adopts a three-layer composite structure: polyolefin / adhesive layer / polyvinyl chloride. The inner layer is a polyolefin layer, the outer layer is a polyvinyl chloride layer, and the middle layer is an adhesive layer. The thickness of the polyolefin layer is 0.1–0.25 mm, the thickness of the polyvinyl chloride layer is 0.4–0.6 mm, and the thickness of the adhesive layer is 0.02–0.05 mm. The inner surface of the three-layer composite drip chamber is a polyolefin layer, and the three-layer composite product is obtained by co-extrusion blow molding. The surface of the drip chamber in contact with liquid medicine is made of non-PVC material, which avoids adsorption of blood or blood components and contamination by plasticizers and heat stabilizers associated with PVC blood transfusion sets. The three-layer composite drip chamber shows good interlayer adhesion, excellent mechanical properties, and suitability for high-frequency welding. The invention features simple steps, reliable methods, and costs much lower than those of non-PVC materials, making it suitable for large-scale application.
