The present invention relates to a nylon material and a preparation method thereof, in particular to a nylon microcellular foaming material for hollow blow molding and a preparation method thereof. The material of the present invention comprises the following components in parts by weight: 50–90 parts of nylon, 5–25 parts of polyester, 0–30 parts of filler, 1–15 parts of polyolefin graft copolymer, 0.5–5 parts of branching agent, 0.5–10 parts of foaming agent, 5–15 parts of foaming auxiliary, 0.2–1 part of lubricant, and 0.3–1 part of antioxidant. The preparation method thereof is also disclosed. The nylon microcellular foaming material for hollow blow molding of the present invention has the characteristics of good melt sag resistance during blow molding, high cell density, uniform cells, easy processing, good moldability, excellent mechanical properties, good heat resistance, excellent low temperature resistance, light weight, high strength, good dimensional stability, high appearance quality, high yield, short molding cycle and the like.
