A Method for Manufacturing Nutritional Pots for Plant Seedlings

The invention relates to a manufacturing method of a nutrient pot for plant seedlings, characterized by using biodegradable polyethylene plastic and polyethylene resin, or waste polyethylene plastic as raw materials. Through an extruder and/or a blow molding machine, the raw materials are first pelletized or directly fed into the blow molding machine, heated and melted, extruded from a die opening into a film tube, then the film tube is placed into a mold for blow molding, demolded after 4–5 seconds, and cooled to obtain the desired product. The method of the invention is simple. When degradable raw materials are used, the nutrient pot can biodegrade after half a year, reducing secondary pollution. Moreover, the raw material ratio can be adjusted to control the degradation time to adapt to the growth period of crops. In addition, the invention can also use waste polyethylene plastic as raw material to make nutrient pots, making full use of waste and reducing white pollution.
